Someone very wise once said, “A Cool Head and a Wise Tongue can drag an elephant by a fine hair.” Hello, my name is Stacie Brick and I’m the Bowen Team’s Executive Assistant/Director of Client Services. I was hired by Don and Ken over 20 years ago.
Born and raised in Beverly Hills, California, I’m the youngest of 3, raised by a single mom who was an actress. My mom instilled in me at a very young age a few philosophies that have carried me throughout my professional career and in life. The career path that I originally fell into was Law Enforcement. I was a Private Investigator for 20 years and was a Security Manager for Nordstrom Department Store for over 9 years, including opening up the flagship San Francisco store, then returning to Southern California to manage the security operations of the South Coast Plaza store. I was drawn to Don and Ken because I believed in how they treated their clients; the level of customer service they gave them was, and still remains impeccable
When I started with Don and Ken we were small in size but big on results. I believe the reason why The Bowen Team is so successful year after year is really very simple—Customer Service. For me, my philosophy is to treat every client as if they are our Only client, to make their real estate experience Unforgettable. There are several phrases that I have said most of my life and I stand by them. One is, “ I’m as close as your phone 24/7” and the other is, “I will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations.” I love my job because I love people. I love the fact that our clients look to me to help them through a transaction. They say that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you can make.
When I express to a client that I will be there for them 24/7, it gives them a very strong level of comfort. I have a profound amount of pride being a part of The Bowen Team. I also have a great deal of pride in who I am and how I make our clients feel from the listing of their home, to closing the escrow. My endless and tireless commitment to support our clients and the entire Bowen team is unwavering. I have always worn as many hats as needed to get to the finish line.
One of our clients referred to me as, “The Ambassador of Customer Service.” Donnie Bowen referred to me as, “The Heart and Soul of The Bowen Team.” For me, it is effortless to be kind, caring, and selfless.
In a typical real estate transaction, there is a beginning, a middle, and an end, but with the Bowen Team, there is no end, as our customer service is limitless. I’m proud to say that when I was working as the security manager at South Coast Plaza, I was very involved in a program called, Short Stop. Short Stop was founded by the Orange County Bar Association. It was a Juvenile Diversion Program for first time offenders. The classroom was held in a court room in Santa Ana, and in a holding cell behind the court room.
Upon successfully completing the program, the offender would not have a criminal Juvenile record. In the South Coast Store, I allocated 10% of my monthly civil recovery to supporting this program. While I lived in Washington State, I donated 4 days a month for 6 months to counsel adolescent teenage boys. The charities that I continue to financially support annually are CHOC hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
